Silwatech is backed by a team of 1000+ employees, serving clients in over 10+ industries across 9+ locations
The end client is an organisation that uses aerial imagery for remote sensing, monitoring and analytical applications where image clarity directly affects the quality of interpretation.
The organisation required a secure method for enhancing low-resolution aerial images without the expense and operational complexity of repeated high-resolution image capture or the data-control concerns associated with cloud-based processing.
The end client’s identity is withheld due to contractual confidentiality and NDA obligations.
The solution was designed and developed by a SilwaTech partner company through SilwaTech’s partner delivery ecosystem.
The platform covered
The platform was designed to balance image fidelity, processing speed and data control while supporting use within restricted or security-sensitive environments.
Key challenges included
The client needed a locally deployable AI platform capable of improving image resolution, contrast and interpretability while keeping sensitive imagery within its own environment.

Custom-Tuned Super-Resolution Model
A Residual Channel Attention Network was adapted and tuned specifically for aerial imagery.
Key capabilities included
Image Restoration Pipeline
A structured image-processing pipeline was implemented to address common aerial-image degradation.
The pipeline supported
HDR Enhancement
HDR-processing capabilities improved contrast, visual depth and feature visibility after super-resolution.
The solution provided
Local and Offline Deployment
The platform was packaged for deployment within the client’s own infrastructure.
Deployment capabilities included
The technology environment included
The project was delivered through SilwaTech’s partner ecosystem under a partner-led implementation model.
The AI research, model architecture, enhancement pipeline, performance testing, local deployment and technical implementation were performed by an experienced SilwaTech partner company. SilwaTech contributed through engagement alignment, partner collaboration and coordination of the required computer vision, image-enhancement and on-premises deployment capabilities.
The delivery team included specialists in
Delivery followed an iterative model-development approach. The RCAN architecture was refined against standard baselines, tested across blur, haze and lighting conditions, and then packaged as a locally deployable and testable solution.
The identities of the end client and implementation partner remain confidential. SilwaTech does not represent itself as the direct contracting party or sole technical implementer for this engagement.
Aerial imagery used for monitoring and analytical activities can contain sensitive or restricted information.
Key areas of focus included
These measures addressed the data-residency and privacy concerns associated with cloud-based image-enhancement services.
The reported outcomes included
The reported performance figures reflect evaluation against the project’s selected images, models and baseline conditions. They should not be presented as guaranteed results for every image source or operating environment.
Our project experience spans government authorities, regulated enterprises, and major organisations across multiple industries.
