The end client is a major UAE government authority responsible for urban transportation, vehicle regulation, driver licensing, road safety and related public services.
As part of its digital-service modernisation programme, the authority introduced self-service kiosks to make frequently requested transport and licensing services accessible through convenient, guided and user-friendly digital journeys.
The objective was to develop an integrated self-service application through which citizens and residents could complete multiple vehicle, driver and transport-related procedures using public kiosks.
The solution needed to bring different service categories into one consistent interface while supporting backend integrations, transaction processing and kiosk hardware.
Through a partner-led engagement, the delivery team supported the development of an integrated self-service kiosk application for transport, vehicle and driver-related services.
The application was built using Angular 14 and .NET and was designed specifically for large touch-screen kiosk environments. It provided guided, step-by-step workflows that helped users select services, enter the required information, complete eligible transactions and receive confirmations or printed documents.
Unlike a general information kiosk, this platform supported transactional government services involving backend processing, payment interactions, appointment scheduling and document issuance.
The engagement focused on developing and refining the kiosk application, integrating the service journeys with backend systems and supporting relevant kiosk hardware interactions.
