Project Overview
SilwaTech contributed to the development of an interactive roadside smart kiosk solution designed to enhance the daily commute experience. The kiosks provide commuters with live bus schedules, nearby location discovery (cafes, attractions), and interactive features, along with hardware-enabled utilities such as mobile charging ports and free Wi-Fi.
The project required end-to-end software development and hardware-level integration to deliver a unified, reliable, and engaging public touchpoint.

SilwaTech’s responsibilities covered both software and IoT integration, including:
- Developing the kiosk application interface in React
- Building backend services using .NET Core
- Implementing Redis as the primary data layer for fast retrieval and real-time updates
- Integrating with third-party hardware and IoT components inside the kiosk
- Implementing features for: Live bus schedules & Nearby location discovery & User interaction and information browsing
- Enabling mobile charging, Wi-Fi connectivity, and other kiosk utilities through hardware binding
- Ensuring end-to-end communication between frontend, backend, Redis, and IoT modules
